Edelweiss to Bring in Carlyle as Strategic Majority Investor for its Housing Finance Business
Carlyle Group →Carlyle Asia Partners-affiliated funds agreed to invest INR 2,100 crore in Nido Home Finance. The package combines a purchase of a 45% stake from Edelweiss with INR 1,500 crore of primary capital, producing a strategic majority position. The deal remained subject to regulatory approvals.
