Carlyle to Acquire Approximately $7.7 Billion Personal Loan Portfolio from Truist

Carlyle Global Credit agreed to buy Truist’s seasoned portfolio of unsecured consumer loans, reported at approximately $7.7 billion. The asset-backed finance team leads the investment. Completion was expected in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary conditions.
