Computershare acquisition of Wells Fargo Corporate Trust Services
Acquisition · 23/03/2021
Wells Fargo agreed to sell substantially all of its Corporate Trust Services business to Computershare for an announced USD 750 million. The sale closed November 1, 2021. Employees and most systems, technology and offices transferred; certain named trustee and other contractual roles transferred in stages, with Computershare acting as agent in the interim. Wells Fargo Securities advised the seller. The recorded amount is the announced purchase price, not a serviced-assets balance.
