InfraVia Capital Partners →

InfraVia announced its third Critical Metals investment on 17 June 2026, committing approximately SEK420 million, described as EUR39 million, for 6.6% of Gruvaktiebolaget Viscaria. The investment participates in a SEK2.4 billion capital increase and would make InfraVia the second-largest shareholder. Viscaria is developing a permitted brownfield copper mine at Kiruna in northern Sweden. The project benefits from rail access, hydropower and existing underground infrastructure. At announcement, mining had started and concentrate production was expected in 2028. Planned output was about 120,000 tonnes of concentrate annually, containing 26,000 tonnes of copper. An offtake memorandum with Aurubis supports European distribution. These production figures remain projections.
